The Results Are In!

We asked, you responded, we listened.


 Firstly, we would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the survey. Your feedback is invaluable to us and it helps us to understand how we can be the best at what we do. We appreciate the criticism as well as the praise as it shows us how we can serve you better.



Secondly, your time and feedback has allowed us to support charitable causes close to our hearts, with £2 donated to Shelter or Mind for every completed survey. We are extremely grateful for this.

So, what did your feedback tell us?

We learnt that:

  • Most of you are extremely satisfied with Together We Count
  • Everyone who completed the survey felt that all their needs have been met (this is what we strive for, so we are over the moon about this!)
  • Lots of you felt that we care about your individual needs, but we want you all to feel this way so we will be working hard to improve in this area
  • All of you said that you would recommend us to a friend or colleague. That’s great! Did you know we pay commission for referrals that lead to new clients? Learn about the referral scheme here.

We asked you how we could serve you better and we had some great feedback here. Helping you to understand your tax returns, rather than just doing them for you was one of our favourite comments. We look forward to blogging about this soon.

When asked what we have done well, lots of you said we communicate well and that we are happy to answer any questions, even if you felt they were silly or trivial. There’s no such thing as a stupid question in our eyes so keep on asking! You have your area of expertise and we have ours. You’re not expected to know all the answers.

Thanks again for your participation. We will conduct surveys annually to see if you continue to be extremely satisfied with Together We Count.

More Information- CJRS and SEISS

As we start another week,  I felt it was important for me to share the latest updates with you regarding the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme and the Self-Employed Income Support Scheme. HMRC Recovery Powers HMRC have put together the draft legislative package to reclaim payments under CJRS and the Self-Employed Income Support Scheme. This is subject to a HMRC consultation which comes to an end on 12th June. Under the draft legislation, HMRC will have the power, by way of a 100% tax charge, to recover payments which were either: Not due Not used to pay wages and PAYE Not used to make pension contributions Penalties will be imposed where there has been deliberate non-compliance. This comes at the same time as HMRC have notified that, to date, they have picked up on nearly 2,000 fraudulent CJRS claims to date.
