The aim of EOHOS (Eat Out to Help Out Scheme)

Dear all,   Together We Count Limited update – 13/07/20   I trust you are well.   Here is a link to register for the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme - https://www.gov.uk/guidance/register-your-establishment-for-the-eat-out-to-help-out-scheme   Along with some information below:   The aim of EOHOS   Government incentive to encourage people to eat or drink in eligible establishments during the month of August 2020. To assist the hospitality and leisure sector on the road to recovery.   How does the incentive work?     It offers the diner(s) a 50% discount up to a maximum of £10 (VAT inclusive) if they eat or drink non-alcoholic beverages on the premises of eligible establishments. This is an all-day incentive for every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 3 rd August to 31 st August 2020. Together We Count update 08 July 2020

Hi All,   Together We Count update 08 July 2020 The Chancellor of the Exchequer has announced a series of measures today to try to aid the UK economic recovery by protecting jobs and to support struggling businesses. The Chancellor sees this as Phase 2 of 3 phases to deal with the economic fallout from the pandemic. Phase 1 being the various support packages such as the Job Retention Scheme and the Self-Employed Income Support Scheme to name but a few. Phase 3 will be in the autumn focused on rebuilding through a Budge and a Spending Review.   Please note that some of announcements here may only affect England and Northern Ireland due to the devolved powers being transferred to both Scotland and Wales.   The Job Retention Bonus Employers who retain furloughed workers as employees up to 31 st January 2021 will receive a one-off bonus of £1,000 per retained employee.
